Jan woke early that day and had already been for a swim. She now lay lazily on the small sandbank next to the man who had brought her here last night. The clear blue sky and the smell of the fresh green plants and trees around them that made her smile. Ward was still asleep and she left him that way as she watched the birds dance on the air streams. It was the first time she had felt free, really free in a long time. Keeping her eyes open she wanted to remember every minute of this time. They weren't supposed to be together, let alone start a relationship, and it had been pretty clear on both of their parts last night that a relationship had started. Their Agency didn't encourage relationships. It was a cause of distraction, and something that could be used as leverage. For some reason that hadn't stopped them. Over the last couple of months they had gotten to know each other and last night had been their first 'official' date. As long as they stayed here they were safe, but that wasn't an option. Ward started to stir and she turned on her side wishing that things had been different for the first time in her life. Where they would go from here was unclear, but it would be together.
This picture reminded me of a place that two of my characters may have spent a night. I decided to write and extra piece about their relationship that was never included in any of the books. Want to find out more about them and what they do? Go to my website
www.annaydawson.com to read the first chapter of either of my books. Oh and by the way the picture was taken in Australia, Northern Territory.

Very cool! Love the forbidden romance element and the pic of Australia. I've always wanted to go there.
