Reincarnate

Finding time to write is one of the most important things to do. I seem to be more centered and clear thinking when I have a project that I am working on than when I am just going about my daily routine. Even though I have a normal '9-5' job it never ceases to amaze me that the one thing I have always loved to do seeps into that as well. I remember trying my hand at novel writing in college (many years ago now) and even finishing one. I look back on it now and wonder that if I had taken another track in my life I may have been something totally different. And this is where I get to my topic: Most of the time I am content with the way things turned out, but if I had it all to do again I may have wanted to do something different. Growing up in a small town I wasn't always aware of what options I had. I think that my writing may give me that oportunity now to live the lives I never had. What a unique thing to be able to do and what a way to step away from the safe daily routine that we create for ourselves.

I know pursuing a writing career at this stage of my life has taken me from my comfort zone - but I think that's a good thing.
