May?

Happy May Day...maybe.  The nightly news has been filled with reports of weather that in most of our recent memories would seem bizzar.  Snow in Colorado and the Midwest, winds and fire season start early by one month, and of course my little corner of the world trying to brake high temperature records as well. If that is not enough people haven't been imune from the wackiness of it all as most of us know by now.
Today I got a reminder of times that seem so long gone.  I was very lucky today. I got to watch a high school drama group preform for an elementary.  I listened to the teacher, my age, talk about giving preformances in their carports when she was young. The most interesting part was her plea for this new connected generation to do the same. The show began and by the end my hopes for the future, the next generations and the joy of reading were all renewed! What a joy and a welcome reset to all that seems to be going wrong.  Maybe we all need to lok and find our reset buttoms.
