New Year's Resolutions - Or Just a Mistake

I was looking back at my post, the few and far between, and one caught my eye.  It was the one about mistakes.  I firmly believe we should all make at least one small mistake everyday.  Nothing big, nothing traumatic but something we all can learn from or laugh at.  It is more to keep reminding us that we are human and that no matter how hard we try there is no way to be perfect.  It will help us to see that others are humans as well and that we shouldn't expect perfection from them either especially on those days when life just won't allow it.  Last and but not least it would allow us to laugh at ourselves.  I think this may be the healthiest thing of all.  No one should take themselves too seriously.  It's just not healthy.  Laughing makes us happy and healthy and what better way to remind us of our connections to each other than to lighten our load and the heavy expectations we might put on ourselves to be to perfect.  Now with all of this being said I plan to look for, make, that one little mistake daily so that I can smile, connect with my fellow man and be human and allow others to be as well.
