Stay in the Present

Sorry about the delay in posting.  It seems that this year has been full of trials and tribulations.  I feel very lucky with how my health issues have gone.  Being told you have cancer is a shock to the system but watching something happen to someone else that you love is so much worse.  Luckily all turned out well this time.

It seems like 50 is the age that the body seems to want to be rest.  It also seems like our society, our
r jobs, and our way of life might be asking too much from us.  In my room I have a sign, Don't Let Stress Make You a Mess.  I believe it is a must for people today to find a way to release the stress in some way or another.  If not it will make you sick, and if nothing else tired.

Releasing stress doesn't mean sitting on one's seat in front of the TV but finding something to do that makes you truly happy.  Whether that is some sort of sport, volunteer work, or my favorite, writing.  There was a old saying that one should find their bliss.  Stop for a moment and think..... just think...... what makes you happy?  Is it walking the dog, biking that special trail, ore is it something more exciting like hiking or canyon climbing.  Whatever it is just do it! Don't wait for tomorrow because who knows what tomorrow will bring.
