Opening his eyes he was surprised to see that it was midday. Really he was surprised to see at all. He had been abducted by six men in black and put in a trunk of a car. Thinking for sure he was a deadman he lay there trying to think of how he had ended up in this situation. Three days ago he had agreed to help out a friend in San Diego by staying at his place and just taking care of it. Maybe he should have asked more questions. He tried to move and discovered that his feet and hands were bound. Whoever had left him out here under this tree planned on being back. That was not the good news he thought it should be. The exhaust fumes must have knocked him out, that was the only way to explain why he didn't remember being dropped off here or tied up.
He tried to roll over to get a better look at his surroundings to now avail. He was dealing with professionals. Professional what he didn't know. The wind gently brushed his face and the warmth of the sun was in sharp contrast to what he was feeling right at this point. All he knew was that he couldn't just lay there waiting to be a victim. He had to try anything.
This is an interesting shot of a tree trunk that had been bent and shaped by its surroundings. Thought it made an interesting piece. Guess you can tell I love a good mystery.

wonderful photo!
Did you make up the story to go with the photo or find the perfect photo to go with the story?

I'm amazed you thought of all this based on the photo!
The photo inspired the story as I was looking through all my digital prints. Like I said, I love a good mystery.
Very creative. And I love a good mystery, too.
